Membership Benefits

AWARDS FLANC honors distinguished members of the profession at the fall conference. Membership will make you eligible to nominate someone for an award and to be nominated yourself. If you would like to nominate a FLANC member for Teacher of the Year, Higher Ed Teacher of the Year or Honorary Life, please email the Awards Chair.	MINI GRANTS FLANC offers funding to members K-16 to help fund those projects you've always wanted to implement. Grants up to $500 are given yearly to FLANC members. Applications are available online or contact the Professional Needs Chair for more information.
FALL CONFERENCE The Annual Fall Conference held in conjunction with affiliate organizations provides you with networking and professional development opportunities. Workshops and Sessions on teaching strategies that will leave you feeling excited and rejuvenated about your teaching!	ADVOCACY FLANC provides you with presentation, support and visibility as a world language teacher, elementary through graduate school, at the state and federal Government levels, and through the media.
