This scholarship is open to all second language students in a North Carolina institution of higher learning.  Applications are due in March.

Honorary Life Memberships are awarded to members who have made significant contributions to FLANC and to the language teaching profession. Those considered for the award must have been FLANC members for a minimum of five years. Any FLANC member may make nominations. In addition to the letter of recommendation, there should be a second letter of support from a colleague, principal, or administrator attesting to the nominee's contributions to language teaching and culture.
