50-minute sessions

Share the power source that lights your pathway to proficiency! We encourage sessions that focus on proficiency-based teaching and learning, but sessions in all areas of world language education are welcome!

Assessment—AdvocacyHeritage learners/ImmersionLearning styles and strategiesStandards-based curriculumTechnology, etc.

We also welcome sessions that address teaching ideas for specific age levels or languages:

FLES (Foreign Languages in the Elementary Schools), Middle and High Schools, Community colleges, Colleges and Universities

Research roundtables

Submit proposals to share completed or ongoing research in language acquisition.

Three-hour workshops

We will offer 3-hour workshops on Friday evening and Saturday late afternoon. Submit proposals for workshops that will engage teachers and help improve their understanding and practice in proficiency based teaching!

Pre-conference webinars

Professional Development from the comfort of your home! We will offer 2-hour webinars on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings of the conference week.
