Franklinton HS are looking for a full-time Spanish teacher to teach mostly Spanish I but also some Spanish II. The duties are to provide all lesson planning and instruction and other normal teaching responsibilities. We are on the block schedule, therefore each semester would consist of three 90 minute classes and one 90 minute planning period. We are a small school with less than 850 students. Our foreign language department consists of two full-time Spanish teachers and one part-time French teacher. A North Carolina teaching license is preferred, but as a minimum the applicant must qualify under the lateral entry program.

GRINNELL COLLEGE. Tenure-track position in Linguistics, starting Fall 2011. The successful candidate must have a PhD in Linguistics. Secondary specialization open. Assistant Professor (PhD) preferred; Instructor (ABD) or Associate Professor possible. The successful candidate will join several faculty appointed in a variety of departments who contribute to the interdisciplinary Linguistics concentration.
