Ravenscroft School - Interim Upper School Spanish Teacher 

Ravenscroft School is an all-gender independent day school in Raleigh, NC. The school is looking for an Upper School Spanish teacher to teach two sections of Honors Spanish 2 and three sections of Spanish 3. This is a full-time interim position with the possibility of extending to a permanent position. The successful candidate will be an educator who has a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish or Foreign Language Education; MA or MEd highly desirable; previous teaching experience and experience developing and teaching a proficiency-based curriculum preferred. Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish at Winston Salem State University

The position is an academic rank of Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish in the College of Arts, Sciences, Business and Education at Winston Salem State University (NC) with a start date of August 2024. This teaching-focused position is a one-year, full-time, and benefit-eligible position.  It will be renewable contingent upon performance, departmental needs, and university funding. The Department of World Languages and Cultures at the University of North Carolina Wilmington has two full-time Lecturer positions in Spanish to begin August 2024.

Lecturer positions are renewable, non-tenure track positions with the possibility of promotion based on experience and performance. These positions are nine-month appointments with the opportunity to contribute to summer teaching and/or lead study abroad programs for additional compensation.  Responsibilities include teaching four courses per semester primarily in a face-to-face format at the introductory and intermediate levels as well as other courses based on departmental needs and the expertise of the candidate.
