FLANC invites you to submit your session proposal for our 2021 fall conference, Passport to Global Citizenship: Connecting Language & Culture. We believe that now more than ever that world language educators have a responsibility to ensure that our students are not only competent in the language, but also the target cultures where our languages are spoken. As world language educators, we have the power to make a difference in the way in which our students will participate in our shared global society.
We welcome all submissions, but we are eager to solicit sessions relating to global education and best practices for integrating culture into our world language courses. We look forward to reviewing your proposals!
Session proposals are due by March 11, 2021
The 2021 Fall Conference is October 9-10 (Saturday and Sunday) 2021. Workshops will be scheduled for virtual the week of and also possible live workshops on Friday evening, October 8. The FLANC Board is planning for an in person conference in Durham at this time, but will continue to monitor the Covid 19 situation and make a determination in Spring 2021 whether we need to move to another virtual conference.
